had a nightmare last night, waking up this morning trembling and crying because the same old thing happened, and i couldnt understand why. Its the same thing but occurred to another group of ppl i know. They started to despise me, ignore me, i cried and begged them but they didnt want to look at me.

the feeling is so real, i ended up crying so hard thinking why do i deserve to be treated like this...

anyway its been quite some time.. i tried to not think about it, but when comes to night time feeling lonely, starts to think back my own life, really feel that i have many things that i have not accomplished, have not done, should not say and should have done to those that once precious to me.

i just want to be happy.

to be honest, studies has taken most of my time nowadays.. its quite stressful sometimes but i am quite thankful that I am actually studying than working.. I couldn't imagine waking up everyday at 6am to go work.. well im not quite prepared for it.

Fortunately I have another year to prepare myself both mentally and physically for the workforce. By then, i think im quite ready =)

In the meanwhile, i shall just study hard as well as play hard =)

I am also grateful that I can actually still meet my friends every Tues after sch for a simple lunch. Although one of them aren't free, but i guess we shall be meeting very soon for gathering to celebrate x'mas eve.

just did my skincare shopping today! Although my Fancl Washing Powder still left less than half a bottle, decided to try this Cetaphil cleanser which is raved everywhere i read (Youtube, Forums, Websites), cater to the sensitive and delicate skin type too, this brand is recommended by doctors. Just coincidentally, i bought it on the same day my nephew had doctor prescription of this cleanser! haha..

As for the CURE aqua gel, its something i have been WANTED to try, its super expensive, $42 just so you know. However, it removes dead skin cells effectively any part of your skin! I remembered when it was launched like 1 or 2 yrs ago? Everytime I went Watsons I would tested it out on the back of my palm and my dry scaly legs. Hehehe.

So finally, i BOUGHT IT!

due to the recent drama in my life, i hope its going to come to an end soon.

i hope, i really pray that i had made a good choice to reveal the truth, he sounded super angry and disappointed and made several curel remarks on the other person who caused the drama.

i don't want to be labelled as 'unfilial' so something along that line. Nobody know the best other than myself that i am filial, just not up to your standard.

talked about this issue to my bf, his family and so far, only veron knows it.. its nothing about me, just some family issue.. in case you are wondering.

On the bus journey back, i thought a lot about my current life. Through these months, i have gained something but i have also lost something that used to be important to me. The times we had together, those memories, those jokes, those laughters and those photos.. I will never ever erase it away from my heart seriously. Even if we are no longer the same, i will remember the good ones instead of bad ones. I would also hope these people would do the same too..

As for those who stayed by me, im sure i had made mistakes in life that may angered them, but they stayed by my side and im really grateful for that. Say im thick skin or wat, but i think im not a bad friend or lover or family member afterall. I dun say mean words to hurt ppl, but if i have hurt you thats because i didnt know you dun like it. I mean, everyone deserve a chance to change. Its only possible if i am given a chance, apparently in some areas of life, i have failed. Terribly.

Im not perfect, yet i think i know whats giving back to the society. If you treat me good, i will too.. If i have ever do sth wrong, i have already apologised. If things still dont work out, i guess i will just leave those memories behind and continue my life with those who stayed.

Cruise 2011 - Phuket & Langkawi

Spent 4D3N over at cruise to Phuket and Langkawi with some of my relatives, mother and bf. We rushed down after whampoa and meet bf at Banquet to eat Laksa. It was nice in my opinion =)

Then we met the rest of my family members and went to queue up to board the cruise. Its holiday now, theres lots of indians on board which kind of... yup.

Then we saw Fuji Restaurant and the pizza company, hence we ordered a small pizza and headed over to fuji to order a glass of coconut frost drink. =)

After that, we took the van again to the massage place which is less than 5 mins drive and had thai full body massage..

Back to the port, bf was hungry so we went to look for food and saw quite a number of street stalls opening, hence we ordered beef noodle and papaya salad.

Hmm, this time round, Langkawi was really boring, got down the ship and walked around, but there was nothing to see or buy. Hence we walked 1 round before going back the ship.

Later that day, we dressed in jeans for Gala Dinner night over at the chinese restaurant.

Did not take pics of it, as i was busy eating. The hk style steamed fish was really yummy the first time! Then we ordered 2nd fish but the fish meat wasnt that soft, abit too hard.. =\

Sorry for delay, keep procrastinate to update my blog nowadays..

Our trip was from 30 May - 2 June 2011, taking Singapore Airlines economy class, special thanks to bf's dad who helped us with the booking and we only paid $150 each to BKK =)

In my opinion, its a steal!

Upon reaching, we checked in early because we reached bkk ard 10am, and the earliest check-in supposingly was 12noon, however, as there are empty rooms in the smoking room (we were allowed to check out the condition before confirming with the staff whether we want it or don't want.) If we do not like it, we would have to wait till 12noon then can checked in.

In the end we took the smoking room, although there is a little smell, but i brought perfume to spray the room (mildly).

The first stop we went was Siam Paragon Ocean World. Its 900 Baht, but our hotel has special promotion which entitled us 20% off each person, hence we paid 800 Baht each. However i feel that its still quite expensive.

Following pictures were taken using my Iphone, hence sorry for the poor resolution of my pictures here as the place was kinda dark..

We tried the fish spa too! Damn tickelish, its like the little fishes nibbling onto the dead skin cells from your legs, i feel kinda creepy..

But bf doesn't feel comfortable doing this. haha.

This is a mixed cultural cuisine restaurant in MBK called SUMO. It has Italian, Japanese, Thai cuisines with affordable prices in Singaporeans' standard.

My beef don which i realised they tend to give kimchi as sides in Japanese restaurants (a korean speciality - weird combination right?)

after that, we went to find my previous trip manicurist (who did my prom nails) at the shop, but realised wasnt her there, but 2 other local ladies. However, still went ahead and had a hard time explaining to them that i want Leopard prints as apparently they don't know whats Leopard.. But they were very patient in flipping through nail art magazines and their previous nail art pieces to see which design I am talking about.

The lady who did for me, was okay, the design turned out average but not super satisfying in my opinion. However, for the price i paid (200 Baht), I don't ask for more. Somemore i think it was her first attempt.

I chose a nude colour as my base colour and brown/black spots.

Went MBK watsons and found these cute tissues, sorry the picture wasn't this angle from my computer. Not sure why its like this also. Rotated it alr but when uploaded, it does not help.

Gave away the yellow rilakuma and red hello kitty to Veron and Meifang when i met them after my trip. For yuping, she will get something else. haha.

Settled our dinner at our all-time favourite, THE PIZZA COMPANY!

Its cheap, and bf kept raving about their thick crust pizzas.

The first time we came was 1 for 1 promotion, this time it was order 1 pasta for 1 pizza and 4 hot wings. Drinks not included, but its still cheap anyway. Total bill plus 2 glasses of pepsi (379 Baht).

hawaiian pizza, damn nice! We believe that they fried the base before topping it with hams and pineapple and cheese cuz its super cripsy.

Next, he kept wanting to eat the crepe at Central World which his friend introduced him when he came with his poly friends for his graduation trip.

the place seems a little dirty, some atas will nv eat here cuz vehicles would pass by every now and then. However, they opens very early and close early too, so we believe her business is good!

Its nice btw, only 20 baht. (SO FUCKING CHEAP).

For those weak stomachs, not sure if you people can tolerate like houseflies on the raw meat, once cooked, we ate it anyway, nothing happened.

Bought some street side food back to hotel to eat. MY FAVOURITE, BBQ fish with salt on top, the chilli is POWER~!

First time trying out this steamboat at Central World, was ok, cost us 299 baht each... Each of us had 1 hr 15 mins to finish, did not eat a lot, but i like the tempura prawns.. YUMMEH!

bought mangoes for my dad and Yvonne, however, it was spoilt and the pre-cut that i bought tasted sourish when my mother tried when i reached home.

However, bf bought some thai green mangoes which are kinda raw, when reached singapore it was still ok, so he tried and it was nice, a little sweet and crunchy.

Yeah, i was guilty for not telling my dad about my trip, worrying that he might not allow me to go since bkk was having some election thingy earlier on.. But in the end he knew it from my mom because he called and looked for me the first day i reached BKK! lol. worried and finally called him and apologised, surprisingly he did not scold me or did not sound angry like want to beat me when i came back. yeah, he's the best =3 Will not hide things from him anymore.

bf also promised me once he ORD, he will come bkk with me again, hopefully i could come once a year as our getaway trip!

on the side note, really want to thank my bf for accompanying walked around the platinum mall and 2 other new malls which are just beside one another. He walked twice to thrice the same place as i was looking for my ideal shorts.. yup.

Really miss the comforter, warms me up instantly. Unfortunately, i fell sick the last day.. However, bf did not fall sick this time. Normally in trips he would fall sick.. yup, shall take care of my body as this Sunday im going Langkawi and Phuket for cruise trip! ^^v

Bugis & The Verge (Tekka Mall)

As Veron's 21st birthday celebration is drawing near, she has asked me to accompany her to get some decorations, we meet up at Interchange before going to Bugis together to meet the most alike couple so that they can lead us to the Tekka Mall where it sells birthday balloons, banners etc.

The weather is still that bitchy hot sun. Never fail to make me feel 'melting'. Finally we managed to find our way to Tekka Mall, which I googled, turned out that it is now known as The Verge. BUT, the big store that sells such stuffs did not open on Sundays, but beside that store which is kinda messy... auntie was... kinda helpful i guess? in helping us with the decisions for heart-shaped or normal-shaped balloons and the colours. LOL. After that, we walked to Haji Lane to window shop. Saw this pants that I fancied $35, but I told myself I shall not buy as I am going BKK soon. Then Yuping stopped me from buying too. HAHA...

After that, the couple went Clarke Quay to play board games (LOL) while Veron and me went Bugis Junction to look for her slippers at Havaianas, but don't have her size ah.. we went to the food court to eat western, after that we went to the departmental store to buy supplies of travel-packed baby wet tissues and pigeon carrot and apple flavoured drink for her Maeson. She even think of her future daughter's name alr. LOL. But her husband told her "you think so.. slowly think.. she won't come here one" haha..

Hopefully they are better now!

Yeah accompanied her to get drinks and cakes from Starbucks, bought dinner for her aunts then took cab back. She treated me hehe, thanks. But there's a change of $2. Shall pass her when I see her.

Today kept walking and stood the whole day from morning, i must admit that i feel old alr, now my feet are aching. lol.

Before changing into my going out clothes to attend Yvonne's birthday.. Today 18 May, is her 21st birthday. =) She invited us to the Indonesian Restaurant "Tam Buamas" for dinner.. I was late and settled dinner at my grandma's house before leaving.

Before that, i was already feeling moody since morning, due to the fact that I had spent unnecessary money like $35 for injection. My mother keep insisting I need to get a jab, so i had to go lor. In the end due to the stupid M1 service down, messages that sent and received from my bf was fucked up, ended up quarrelling for nothing. Then i thinking that i can't even settle my own probs, how to settle others? I was thinking i damn suay, stepped onto dog poo, yesterday thought i picked 10 cents coin means lucky, even went temple (Vesak day) to pray for 'ping an'.. Then went over veron's auntie house, her dog jojo was so friendly with me. Then when i said the word 'carry.." he growled at me and bite me. =(

nobody can be damn suay than me. Then my mother another one, keep advertising i kena dog bite to my relatives, laughed at me and said people whose zodiac is dog cannot be trusted, one min friend friend, another min enemy. -.-" She is saying my uncle...

After the jab since morning, my arm still feel so NUMB. Like as if i carried weights like that. -.-"

WORSE, i took wrong bus, ended up in town instead of city hall, so i took train lor. At that point I already felt damn depressed already, was thinking why am i so dumbfuck. Reached alr, so awarkard, not eating.. cuz no money .. Couldn't take it so ran out wanted to quickly find a toilet to wipe off my tears, then Yvonne called me. Felt really sorry that I think i ruined her celebration, dampen the atmosphere, but she accompanied me to the washroom to wash up before returning to the venue..

My right eye has been twitching for a few days. Im starting to worry now, worried that its not a good sign, and may affect me or my bf during BKK trip. Hopefully, i'm just over worried, and I shall not stress myself.

and right now, im also depressed that my mom mind that my friend did not ask about my wound.. I duno how to say her back cuz i realised i did not ask her too when Snoopy bit her =( She's now having problem in relationship, really hope I could help her. She's always that cheerful and happy-go-lucky, seeing her cry makes me sad. Aiya, she very poor thing jiu dui liao.

I wish that my friend will be ok with her bf.

Zoological Singapore 2011

Early morning my mother and i were supposed to bring my nephew out to zoo. However, something happened that made my mother damn pissed with my brother's wife that initially decided not to bring my nephew go zoo. But knowing that he would cry and make a fuss, in the end brought him to zoo.

Together with my grandma, uncle, aunt n another little girl.. We tooked separate cabs to mandai zoo. Theres alot of new upgradings that me and my bf didnt see when we visited zoo last year. Theres pony rides etc.. Forget alr haha! Plus theres a playground filled with water (quite dirty) for kids to play.. My nephew and his new friend were playing so happily.

After that we cab down to whampoa market for fish head steamboat. Its the same market as my godmother's stall and im so surprised to see the amount of crowds having fish head steamboat. Its famous, but i know they add whole packet of MSG in.. Yup.. Thats why the soup is so tasty mah. Lol.

Went up my godmother house awhile before cabbing home. Then realised my nephew pooed in his diaper and stained his pants. Ewwwww! Damn freaking smelly like adult's! Lol. Yup. Pics up next post.. Shall turn in now because i sweat n walked, and carried him to see bird, tiger n monkeys until my shoulder pain. :(

went jogging in the late afternoon, before veron came my house so that i could help her with her reflection essay. lol. chatted and she was complaining about mh etc.. after helping her with her INTRODUCTION and only the first part, lOL. its already 7.30pm, so she accompanied me bring snoopy down to my ah ma place before had dinner with me.. After which accompanied her for 124 before going my grandma place.

Today, my bf came to accompany me after my work to lepak at my place before going out to my house area food court for dinner.. I think for the past 3 yrs, he only came down my house area for food less than 10 times.. Lol. But i must admit theres no wonderful delicious food around here, except my fish soup.. Hehe..

Anyway, just finished my exams, and i must said its damn cmi. I hate to say, but i have feeling that i might not make it.. I asked bf whether because im stupid, he said no, but because im unable to take failure as answer. True enuff, i have never fail anything in my academic life. Studying in UOL is so demoralizing sometimes that i think i regretted my choice. :'( but i just dont wanna think about it now. Because theres lots of highlights that going to happen this may! Esp end of may when im finally returning to a country that i love most.. Be it shopping or food (even street side food can be tasty!) yup! Its bangkok! Lol. Gonna take SQ n its only $150 for each person (thank god & thank bf's daddy) .

And and.. The planning of Veron's 21st is making me excited!! Going to try to make it a blast.. Yup..

And finally, would like to express my appreciation to them.. Im very happy that even after secondary sch, after poly, we are still very good.. Despite that we did not really contact for a period of time, just when i thought im going to lose these people who has been a major in my life, for some reasons we become closer once again! I guess its maeson. Lol.. Because of him we visited veron n made us closer again.. I hope we will continue to be like this. And im sure even if sometimes during the jokes i may have make fun of them say the pimple, or 12 pointer joke.. I know they know im just kidding right?? Lol . I mean i welcome them to say me also la, like dog nose lol. I dun mind actually..

In conclusion, i want to cherish these people. Even if in the future, we have our own life n family, im sure we will be the same.. I still remember we want to go overseas together.. Hopefully one day we will have the chance. :)

hey its 2.30am now. just a random thought of blogging... just done with some revisions and massive typings on the keyboard. my back is now aching like hell can.... -.- was given a Lanegie sunscreen SPF 50 sample from my auntie to try. Eggcited to try it! Its time for me to seriously find a suitable non-oily, mattifying effect sunscreen in order to stay away from pigmentations!! I start to worry now, because i saw light spots on my cheeks? Not really visible through naked eyes. But cus its my skin mah, i always spot check my skin condition. HAHA. SO weird leh, i always moisturize and care for my face, but other parts of my body are dying of moisture. lol. Just so lazy to apply body lotion leh, but when comes to my face I care for it like double or even triple afford. Yeah, I always make an afford to wash my hands and towel-dry it before i start applying my makeup/skincare.. even when at the end of the day, i would also wash my hands to make sure its clean before i took out cotton pads and makeup remover to remove my eyeliners.... mascara etc. Then when i wash my face right, either powder or squeeze out gel-cream type, i would lather it into foam first before putting onto my face. I think I worked Fancl made me learn this important point leh. Normally just squeeze out then str put on the face. This will cause abrasion to our delicate skin. LOL. Yup, that's all.

anyways, today my mum and me went to The Cathay for a package that we had signed up before CNY. I still remembered that day while walking towards NTUC, got this booth set up outside the supermarket, when we walked past the booth, the china ladies pulled my mom to sit down and started to do massage for her.. then another lady asked if im above 21, i said no, but will be turning 21 this coming march (one more month). So she pulled me to sit down and infront of many people, me and my mum were being massaged on the shoulders. What i feel weird is because i was wearing sleeveless, the lady then pulled down my sleeveless top and massage my shoulder, revealing my bra straps to the public. What's worst was that it was lunch hours, loads of working people walking past and uncles looking! but still, their strength is there, after massage i felt more relax. The lady asked my mom to take a full body massage at only $38, while mine is shoulder massage $28. Its offer (according to them).

I was still wondering why must be above 21.. So today, me and my mum went after making an appointment. Theres 3 outlets and i had chosen The Cathay's outlet. The name of the massage place is called "Inahamani". Means "inner harmony".

Upon arrival, the place look spa-like, those relaxing kind. However, the staffs inside consist more malays than chinese (from what I had observed). Both of us need to show our IC to the receptionist, and then we were approached by a .. therapist or sth at a consultation room (other customers were led there too for filling up particulars) and choose the aroma oil that we would like to use on our body massage. I have chosen Rosemary and New orange (sth like that). My mom's Peppermint.

Then my mum and I were separated to individual's room. I was told to put my bag in the locker, then she passed me a paper underwear and paper shower cap. I wasn't sure what she said, but after that she went out of the room. Then when she came back, i asked her again then realised I need to take off all my clothes and wear the disposable panties and bun my hair then wear the shower cap. I have to literally take off all my clothes and i feel so naked when she's like looking at me. BUT NO CHOICE, ALREADY HERE.

so i put my clothes in the locker, locked the cabinet then asked me to put the key under the blanket. I lied face down first, the bed was so warm that initially i thought my body temperature was like boiling. Theres a hole for my face to fit in, then she started to massage my feet.. my thighs, my shoulders .. tummy.. haha.

initially she kept telling me sign package better.. etc etc.. i know confirm need to ask me to sign package alr. after 1 hr of massage, i met my mom at a small room, we were thinking how to tell the person that we don't want to sign up for package. the indian lady kept persuading and persuading.. in the end we insisted we don't want and she couldn't do anything too.

yeah, then we went to PS daiso.. I bought a strawberry draw string bag that's actually for little japanese school girl to put her clothes to bring to school. i think i will need it cuz whenever i stay over outside, i don't have to worry my clothes being crumpled and all.

yeah. plus its strawberry! =) after which, took bus back and settled dinner at one of the nearest coffee shop. Wasn't feeling that hungry. My mom ate chicken rice, i ordered a place of chicken rice (half portion) and ate 2 pieces of chicken meat as well as 1 poh pia. It cost me $1.80 . hehe. Yeah, im still feeling full though. GOOD, can reduce my appetite.

Besides this, i have actually encountered my ever first inccident where uncle approached me and asked whether i come from China.

Its damn demoralizing la. I am not staying being the chinese is not good.. But I KNOW WHAT HE THINKING AND WHEN HE ASKED ME THAT, HE'S THINKING OF STH.

Ok, i was with my mom actually, but i need to go to the 7eleven to top up ez link card, i walked faster alone.. she was then behind slowly walking. Out of a sudden, there was this uncle around 50s-60s was sort of walking beside me, then when he walked a little bit in front of me, he turned and smiled at me. I thought he looked familiar, he sort of resembles a uncle who used to open bubble tea shop at one of the corners at that same block when he approached me. SO, I SMILED back. NOT those "DO U WANT?" smile leh, just HEN KE QI DE SMILE.

THEN HOR, he started asking me questions.

lao tiko: (in chinese) ni kui xing [what's ur surname?]

me: (in chinese) wo xin wang [my surname is ong]

lao tiko: (in chinese) ohh, ni qu na li? [I see, where are you going?]

me: (in chinese) wo yao chu qu. [I'm going out.]

me: (in chinese) ya, wo zhu zhe li. [Yes, i'm staying around here.]

lao tiko: (then he changed to english) are you from.. indonesia (THEN HE CHANGED) from china?

me: -.-" no? I'm singaporean.

lao tiko: so are you studying or working?

me: studying.

lao tiko: studying secondary school?

me: no. studying university.

lao tiko: ohh, so are u working?

me: no, im a full-time stuedent

lao tiko: which university are you studying? NUS?

me: degree in business.

all this conversation was just a brief 5 mins when i was walking towards 7eleven. Then i walked in, he said bye.. I think he said see you? NOT REALLY SURE.

The conversation at the end SOUNDS NORMAL.

but when he asked am i from china.. and am i studying secondary school makes me think he's thinking of sth.

Because he was the one who approached me, when he asked am i from china, i find it suspicious. Who will ever ask am i from china when he's obviously want sth from me? I think he's hoping for me to say "ya , i am from china".. and i believe the following conversation will never be the same.

argh. I hate it i hate it i hate it.

i then walked back to my mother, and told her what happened.

she said "maybe ur makeup la. blusher so red, ppl thought u prostitute."

wha laoo eh..

I wearing my zara flower dress (got sleeves hor) and slippers, carried my brown mango bag.

im only wearing eyeliner, mascara with concealer and blusher.

NO FAKE EYELASHES, FAKE NAILS BLAH BLAH BLAH.

I didn't know how to react. I wanted to flare up when he asked whether im from china. But i did not because i scare he maybe not thinking that way. BUT after he left, the more i think, the more suspicious i got.. an old man asking u are you from china, u confirm think "he must be thinking im working at geylang."

had a boring day today =\

well, not sure if anyone would want to know what i've done today cuz i bet it will bore u.

spent my morning at whampoa helping out, took bus home.. was feeling sick and giddy.. once i reached home, i did not bathe.. but instead quickly lied on my bed at the legs area (cuz im sweaty and dirty, don't wanna dirty what i sleep).. Immediately I napped for 3 freaking hours.. after that then i feel better.

woke up, straight away prepared to go jogging. I went down with a little bit of loneliness and emptiness in me. After running for 2 rounds, i finally managed to sort of 'free' my mind from thoughts and worries before proceedin to the 3rd rounds which i find it a breeze too? Was kinda surprised because i had not been jogging for the longest time until last week.. And last week i ony jogged maximum 2 rounds.. So.. yeah, im being motivated i suppose?

Went home, rest then went to pack food for myself and my mum. I requested lesser rice and only ordered steam egg and beancurd.

Was waiting for my bf's call for the whole day... finally he called me in the noon to tell me he bought bedroom slipper, pouch, some insects keychains (LOL) for me.

After that, he did called me a few times again to tell me he's at central world looking at the blusher that I told him to get for me.. Its called Nars, and the colour is Deep Throat. Cool name isn't it? Their names of the products are quite RA such as Orgasm, Sex Appeal, Deep Throat etc etc....

well, but the quality of their blusher is good (I heard) through forums, and it cost $48 SGD. LOLLOLLOL. As they having sales, another item is 10% discount, so decided to get a lipstick called Honaluu Honey. A nude colour I suppose, according to the BKK sales assistant he said its the most popular colour. Yeah.. $36 after discount.

My bf is so thoughtful. He called me again to tell me he bought me stuffs like custom-made bracelet (by him) and earrings.

I really don't know why am i such a sensitive bitch when i have such sweet bf yet im still worrying this and worrying that. Not trying to take him for granted.. but i guess im too overprotective.. While running, i kept telling myself to stay positive.. HAHA. And that i also told myself that I am the best gf and he would never find any girl better than me.

Yah, how i wish i could go bkk to enjoy too.

today's the first day of me being Independent.

met Yvonne at Clarke Quay Stn, we walked all the way to the bars and bistros, expecting to find our ways to Brewerkz. However, we were walking back and forth, we still couldn't find it until we used her Iphone's GPS, then realised its at River Point, which is directly opp us. HAHA

im so sorry to make her walk all over with her heels.

and finally, we reached our destination.

One small cup like this cost us $16 each. -.-

We ordered a burger each.. Each cost $21 although we ordered different kind..

Hers was Cowboy burger, mine was Volcano burger =)

Quite yummy, but i find myself FUCKING THIRSTY for the WHOLE DAY . lol

Its quite a big portion, regretted not sharing though. HAHA

its my lunch and early dinner..

Well, after that, we walked over to liang court, went to Meidi-ya, wanted to get something from the Japanese supermarket for bf's mom.. But not sure what she likes.. perhaps im gonna go one day with bf =)

But i find something damn ridiculous. Their honeydew like the normal size selling outside, it cost $100++ !! A gift set of 8-10 oranges (i think is oranges) is about $140+

After that, we went over to The Central to walk around (nth to walk one, chey) then i walked to the nearest bus stop to take bus.

The bus was about to go, luckily he was kind enough to open the door for me =)

Was so tired that i fell asleep in the bus, don't even bothered to check if im snoring. HAHA.

Worries

2 more days to dear's graduation trip..

today, he got back his result and overall, he passed =)
im happy for him, but somehow or rather, he noticed that i looked quite gloomy..

im happy for him that he passed, was worryin for him that he could have stay back 1 sem for his banking module. while being happy was one thing, the thought of him leaving to bkk is nearer plus i sort of worried of my own examination results (my exam is May), when i have not taken it.

I teared and was really worried, throughout my education life, i have not so worried for my modules failing. This is the first time, ever. Even O levels i took my pace and after the papers i did not cry. But im worry that my upcoming papers in May will fail, for example, subjects like economics and sociology.

SIGH! Really don't know why i would choose UOL. I should have gone to RMIT, but knowing that I already going through 1/3 of UOL journey, i shouldn't stop. In fact, I could divert to RMIT after 1st year in UOL (I heard), but i guess i won't be doing so.

There's pros and cons, i tell myself this.

Bf was tryin to cheer me up, and he somehow enlighten me by saying "at least u know u try your best."

yeah, i think my thinking should be "just study whatever you can, do the papers, get the results then say. IF fail any of the subjects, at least you tried your best."

And this coming APR, i'm gonna be fucking busy with UK and Local revisions in SIM HQ and MH. My life will be super dull and then when May comes, I will need to vomit out all i know and then say hi to Tioman! (HOPEFULLY).

I always wanted to go back BKK for holiday. But knowing that I couldn't save in such a short time, me and bf decided to go Tioman after my exam in May, and hopefully his enlistment date will be LATER THAN MAY.

I really deserve a break after May.

Yeah, so right now.. When bf leaving for bkk that day, I would be having drinks with Yvonne, then meet up with poly friends on 28th and perhaps a pinic with poly mates i think?

So yup.. hes going 6d5n, the previous time we went was 7d6n. It was so fun eating cheap local food and shopping like siao =\

this post is actually dedicated to my sweetest bf on earth..

this comin friday he will be going bkk with his group of poly friends.

i guess this is sort of karma for me? Because i have left him in SG while i was at chiangmai for 2 weeks and also a 3d2n in tioman leaving him in sg. Now karma's gonna hit me back real hard.

i finally know how lonely he felt when i was overseas without him. but he always assured me that he will be faithful and i trust him, he's going with a mixture genders. he reassured me further by saying "friends come and go, now very good but next time no one can predicts. But what im really really sure is that i'm going to settle down with you."

i kept reading that sentence over (im reallly really sure i m going to settle down with you) and over again for at least a mintue, believe it or not. I actually felt a warmth in my heart.

I have always scare that he will leave me, and when i asked what makes him so sure that he want to settle down with me? He said he love me alot etc.

I know hes the one for me because, he has never give up on me when im unreasonable, when im moody. He has always been patient with me, although a lot of times i was like goin to make him angry.. but yeah, still going strong. he always try to motivate me..

and im proud of him because his friends noticed that when he talked to me and to them was completely different, of cuz is sweeter to me la. haha. im thinking "ya, thats my boy." and his friends told me that whenever he is out with them, he always mentioned about me, eg. "my gf like this" whenever they walk pass something that reminded him of me.

last week we had been quarrelling a lot, hopefully i will change for the better and im still trying to.

I know its not easy to maintain such a stable relationship.. but we are compromising to each other, many times i have thoughts that he might walk away from me.. now still got this feelin when we quarrel.. most of the time is my bad, so ya.. i need to change lor..

and im really lucky that not only him who loves me, his family treat me like part of his family too.. esp his mother. Knowin that i love to eat, even though i know auntie anne dun want cook cuz tired.. but still, she cooked dinner and sometimes lunch for me.. and all her food are so delicious. very different from my mother's chinese cooking style.

i love all her cookings esp baked salmon, pasta, muffins, peach pie, udon, beef stew, curry chicken, tom yam soup and many many more.

after a long day of shopping and some window shopping, we finally settled down for a dinner at watami.

today's lesson was cancelled, and bf dont have to go school to do his FYP..

so went over his place very early like 10am, and he drove me to eat at lower pierce road..

after that, drove pass the road on our way to the reservoir, we saw lots of monkeys!

its been almost 1 week since i last blogged.

life has been the same, school, eat, bathe, revise, sleep.. and everything just repeats its cycle again and again..

lately I've been revising until 2am (plus i was watching kangxi lai le at the same time =x), and every time i tried to sleep early, i just couldn't sleep at all!
I would flip here and there, but couldn't get into my lala land.

As a result, my skin condition has become worse off =\ Pimples on my cheeks area that has been there for about a week or so!!!

U will think "chey, urs call pimples, then whats mine?" LOL. From far people couldn't see, but lately my skin has become dry and peeling again, esp forehead.. two nights ago, my entire face was peeling =(

Therefore I decided (like 5 mins ago?) to lead a healthier lifestyle.

1. Drink more water
2. Eat more fruits (lazy leh)
3. Eat more vegetables (eeeekkk, ii would like to eat more greens, BUT my family's veggie cooking style is .. ARGH CMI, not appealing leh!)
4. SLEEP EARLY.

yeah, i guess i really have to sleep early alr.. If not, my skin will be CUI TO THE MAX!

just came back from the party like 1 hour ago?

took 70+ photos, saw quite a number of celebrities like fann wong, chen han wei, tay bin hui, lin xiang ping.. I even saw Utt! omgosh..

We were roaming around the newly opened boutique when we reached there.

Had a glass of champagne, gosh, drank half of it already feel sleepy.

There's alot of atas people, many of them know each other..

bf and me had only each other..

went into the boutique, saw his friends and said hi..

as we reached about 8.30, the fashion show only starts at 10..

when its around 9pm plus, went up a level to the tent where the fashion show is held.

i know im not alone, i know im not the only one who doesnt understand a single shit is going on.

i find it so hard to cope despite revising everyday, sometimes i think back during poly days, i had so many nice classmates to be there to help one another.

but now, its so different, i couldnt cope and i'm really struggling to understand.
but when the next lecture came, i forget about it totally.

i'm such a failure, i even think of withdrawing myself from studying.

really scare i will fail.

life is such a bitch.

when im working i so wanted to go back study.
but when im studying, although i met nice friends, i still couldnt make myself like studying there compared to NP.

the feeling makes me suffocating.

2D1N Malacca Trip

heys,

just came back from Malacca few hours ago.
it was a short getaway with his clique of friends.

total 9 of us booked 2 rooms at the best hotel at Malacca, Hotel Equatorial.
It was gorgeous imo, theres a daybed for chillout corner, and u can read books or sth like that.

had their food there etc, photos will be delayed as most of it have to take from his friends.

yup, overall its a short trip, spend $118 total in coach bus, hotel and food, and some souvenirs back.

bought 2 etude house nail polish, it was 4.90RM and theres 20% discount sia. lol.
wanted to get more, but it was bf who paid, cuz i dun have ringgit with me anymore. so didnt get more.

yeah.

Just wanna blog about today's incident.

Went for fish & co. because bf got $30 CapitaVoucher.

Ordered 2 main course (Fish & Chip and Seafood Platter for One), and add another $5.50 to complete a set meal.

We requested for a warm water for myself.

Before he went off, he did smile and introduced his name to us. Then i thinking hmm, ok service not bad.

Then we talk and talk, but drinks not yet served.

In the end, his passion fruit has arrived, but mine hasn't and i was already thirsty. Requested again, and finally it came after much time.

They seems to be busy, with delays here and there, but theres not much customers in the restaurant IMO.

Nonetheless, he still served my warm water and apologised for the delay. Ok fine, apology accepted.

His seafood platter came, mine was like 3-4 mins behind.

The waiter then saw me eating bf's prawns, i guess so, so he brought an extra plate for me.
Thanked him, but i didn't really use. HAHA

When we were about to finish, the waiter came with a hot fudge with ice cream asking whether it was ours.

We told him it wasn't ours, and then he left.

After the bill came, we didn't really check whether its right or wrong, but we paid additional $31 on top of the $30 voucher.

So total bill is around $61.

Went off, walked around then finally went back my place.

Bf only left my house around 9.15pm and he called me saying he just realised the waiter overcharged him with the hot fudge with ice cream $5.90.

He called and went back, and the person refunded him in cash $10 (with GST) and a complimentary cake (which i feel that is commendable).

Yup, overall i feel that the service in Ion outlet seems to be better than The Glass House, but delays a little.. however, the waiters did showed us their warm greetings and smiles.

hello everyone =)

bf came all the way from his place to meet me and acc. to school.
waited for me almost 3 hours then we went vivo.
sweet of him =)
and he surprised me with a topshop lingerie.

made 2 new friends today =)
i actually met up with this girl from forum that i frequent, and made another friend which she already made friend with on the first day.

was kinda nervous what kind of girls they are, but fortunately, i think they are nice girls =)
hopefully i didnt give any bad impressions to them.

today's lesson was economics. gosh, dead boring.
luckily the angmoh lecturer was quite funny, but kinda stress about economics sia.

after lesson, bf and me took bus to vivo and acc. him for his dinner at secret recipe.
initially just wanted to acc. him, but in the end i ordered beef rendang with butter herb rice, it comes with tomyam soup, 2 slices of watermelon.
was full, but we ordered a piece of chocolate banana to share as im craving for sweet stuff like cake =)
paid with my citibank cuz 10% off.

walked around, and tried tops and a dress from topshop.
actually, i really like the leopard dress leh! Cuz theres two holes at the side of the waist.
i feel that the leopard preens shouts ME, and BOOMZ!
LOL.

but it wasn't a everyday dress, it looks like some clubbing dress to be honest.
hence, returned back to the sales assistant and walked out.
lol

went tangs, and was looking at Lanegie products, esp their basic range and water bank range.
was asking some questions regarding their products, and requested the SA to help me circle the products in the brochure.
to my surprise, she was nice and she asked whether i want to know the price, so i agreed and she wrote it down on the brochure.
followed by giving me 2-3 sets of samples that is suitable for my skin type to use.
really nice girl =) But forgotten to ask for her name.

tried the samples, except for their toner which they dun have stocks.
normally my skincare regime is just toner and SOMETIMES put moisturizer.

during the applications for their emulsion, waterbank essence and cream, i thought SHITS, i like put alot of stuff on my face, scare oily and sticky.

after a few mins, surprisingly it absorbed really well into my skin and does not feel heavy on it.
but what scares me is the amount of ingredients they put in their products, kinda worried that it has strong fragrances and the emulsion contains alcohol.

maybe been using fancl for quite some time (their skincare range is too oily for my skin although its the light range already) i feel that ingredients must be as mild as possible so that it wont harm my skin in the long run.

now after trying Lanegie, i really like the texture and non oily products, but it has too many ingredients and fragrances in it. =(

argh, contemplating much.

anyway, if im getting, i would go to my reliable Korea spree to get it, its way cheaper than buying in SG! gosh.
i compared the price, and i can literally save more than $20 for each individual product that im interested in.

well, save money then say!

first day of school

first day of school is always ever nervous and excited.
though my first day was more nervous than excitement.

had brunch with mummy, and the weather was killing my mood at that time. =(

went over to my grandma place to rest, since i had an hour to spare before setting off for school.

took bus and then transferred bus.

finally, reached the lecture threate.

first thing i did was to go toilet to pee, lol.

came out, showed my student card to collect my notes for the lecture.

it was maths for today.

alot of unfamiliar faces, but i think i saw a girl at the front row looked like someone i know.
well, she didnt say hi to me actually. haha.

know her when i was working at GWC, she was a part-timer selling chocolates, same poly as me.

anyways, maths today was like EG1?
it seems easy, but because have not been using my maths for SO LONG, its rusty.

3 hours lecture passed kinda fast.
didnt really made any friends, although the girl beside me did asked for my name, and i asked hers back politely.

oh, did i mention the layout of the lecture is so sucky?
when one sitting inside got to come out, the rest sitting near the entrance gotta stand up to give way for the person inside. lol.

perhaps this layout is to prevent students from sneaking out of lectures unnecessarily.

after that, went town to meet poly friends which includes, FY, XH, CY, Yvonne and me.

had dinner at Ding Tai Fung, ordered a plate of egg fried rice cost $6.50 (cheapest liao)
and ate 3 xiao long bao (SO FULL LAH)

received my DHC eye mask which i asked yvonne to get it for me at Taiwan, and a gift from them, a schedule book (thanks :) )

Yvonne left early to meet her friend, we chatted a little more before settling the bill and toilet break.

window shopped awhile at F21 before going home.

after which, took bus 61 to sunset way to take 151 to opp hwa chong JC, which is the place i gotta attend lectures for my first year in UOL.

for the following year 2 and 3, then go back SIM HQ.

its kinda ulu... gota walked a distance INSIDE the private properties to get there..

anyway, wont be having any meals there cuz its 3 hours per lecture daily.. and their food doesnt look appetizing for me in my opinion.

hey lovelies,

enjoyed myself thoroughly with bf even though we had only spent few hours tgt.

reserved for 2 persons for internation buffet @ carlton hotel.

at first when he told me, all along i thought carlton = ritz carlton.

i even go google search the address "how to go ritz carlton hotel singapore"

LOL.

met up at bukit merah interchange, took bus 16 to City Hall.

from there, i realized that it carlton hotel is NOT equal to ritz carlton hotel.

so malu! Cuz i tweeted and fb shouted that im going ritz carlton for buffet. *embarrassed*

btw, luckily these 2 hotels are situated near each other...

when we first saw the exterior, bf actually dun feel like eating and feel like cancelling the reservation.

but since we were alr there, why not just try? so we decided to go ahead instead and anyways, he has been wanting to eat buffet for a loooong time. =)

btw, its because he signed up for standard chartered credit card and has 1 for 1 promotion for $56.

honestly speaking, we think it was worth it, esp for seafood lovers (although the seafood selection wasn't wide IMO)

as we were early by 15 mins or so, we took lift up to lepak. lol.

we had 5-6 rounds of food, desserts and fruits.

then i told bf the buffet very cunning, they make us eat so much, then let us eat fruits and vegetables, 1-2 hours later go shit, and its gone.

after buffet, we walked around raffles city..

saw this chanel mirror that i want!

waiting for cousin see she able to get discount for me or not.

and we went taka chanel boutique, and i tried on the 2.55 classic medium in caviar, WHA I LOVE IT LEH.

3) Job i love (high pay of cuz!)

4) Stop the bad habit of slouching =(

5) Touch cockroach (HAHA! I dun think I dare)

6) Go bkk every birthday (when i have stable job of cuz)

7) Able to live pass 2012 (thats the year we are suppose to die yea?)

guess i couldn't make it alr, since is INTENSIVE REVISION for 5 freaking weeks.

the only chance to go is to wait for July-Aug alr.

yesterday bf came to fetch me from Kovan mrt and went back his place for lunch.

stayed at his place awhile before setting off to plaza sing. for window shopping and happened to see my cousin working today, so went to say hi to him.

after which, met up with bf's friend, whom they called him 'FM' (his chinese name) and tgt walked to the pub that the rest of bf's friends were alr there.

we thought it was GOLD SANDS or something GOLD. In the end it was Liquid Gold. haha.

they booked the only small cozy place there at the highest level where we had our privacy all by ourselves.

kinda cool actually.

then the guys started the korean songs haha. we were kinda early. We had martell mixed with green tea/coke, shots and chivas.

his friends kept ask him to drink and i decided not to drink too much cuz i should be sober to take care of him. lol.

when i acc. him to the toilet cuz he giddy, we gotta walked down the staircase, walked pass crowds of people then reach the toilet.. so am worried.

when we came back, the song that was currently playing halfway stopped, then the next song suddenly played.

its "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" SONG.

in the end we found out there's another table of people who celebrating birthday too.

im sure he's surprised, like him, i didnt know anything about the surprise. haha.

after which, cut cake etc.. then they continued to make him drink drank drunk.

but after awhile, he felt better because i stopped him from drinking.

AND OH, it's my first time singing in the pub! i dun usually sing, and when sing i will shy.. but i see his friends all sing like so high i just sing lor.. but only 2-3 songs lah. haha but the thing is, strangers hearing it! gosh. so ma lu.

then again, they ordered korean songs and this time all of them were so high that they stood up and danced, even bf also got high. LOL.

around 3am we left, took cab and went back his place to rest.
and i didnt remove makeup cuz scare disturb his family.

yeah.

and it's our 2 years anniversary on his bday too. (which is today).
but morning we woke up, bought wanton mee for him and myself and shared yong tau foo.

sleep again, then he played dota, i ate abit of orange cake, sleep again, ate kfc then went home alr.

thats how we spent our 2 years anni. lol.

hi guys,

after a week of busy settling my late cousin's wake etc, today is the first day of reopen the business which is also my off day :D

even i had accidentally called out "alfred" when i was actually wanted to call out for his brother Adam.

not only me, their father also unintentinally, habitually called out alfred's name.. i guess its really a painful journey for them to not to mention this name again.. as afraid that his mom would be sad again.

some insensitive people thought they went travelling, wth.

anyways, after workkkk... bused home and during the journey, i sweared i could hear my own snorings!

but i couldn't care so much as i'm freaking tired for the past few days...

swollen puffy eyes due to the cryings I had from 6 July till 8 July..

met bf at vivo and we caught Despicable Me in 3D!

It's damn freaking funny, but i suggest watching the normal ones will do..

Honestly, the 3D specs makes my vision very blurry, occassionally i took off the specs I could see even clearer than wearing it! Well, at least we enjoyed and laughed our asses off. =D

Oh, we smuggled B&J ice creams in too!

Lunched @ Pasta Mania and bought 2 F21 tops.

When I was trying the tops in F21, in the midst of trying, i would walked out of the fitting room to show bf how it looked like.

When I came out the 2nd time (out of 4 times), I realised my door was locked when I was actually outside my fitting room.

So i got puzzled, asked the SA which room was mine (cuz i forgot, lol), after which, i knocked the door for the girl to open the door. I was worrying my stuff like hp, cards or cash would be stolen.

When she came out, she look apologetic yet guilty kinda look and walked further into the other fitting room.

I kept checking my stuff, nothing was stolen. relieved. But i realised my bag has torn tags and barcode, so i walked out to bf and told him about it.

Apparently, the SA overheard and came to me, and I told her that girl who went into my fitting room took out the tag from the product and threw into my bag.

I recgonised it was a malay short hair girl, while i was trying the other 2 tops, she still have not came out of the fitting room.

So i told the SA, "must catch her ok?" She replied "okay! thanks :D"

I really hope she would be caught red-handed by them.

Seriously, at most i walked out with the tags and the sensor signal, but I just don't want her to be freed so easily.

And I guessed she took out the tags from some accessories cuz its small tags, not those longish tag that stick onto the clothing kind.

Yup.

we knew he is in peace now

hey people, i'm here to share with you guys we are relieved that he's in peace now..

as for me, i'm okay now, just that i need some time to accept the fact totally that my cousin is gone.

well, his wake technically was 3 days, starting from the day he passed away which is 6th July.

During the wake, lots and lots of his friends from all walks of life came to pay him the last respect, and some even bought his fav. character plush toys to be cremated the next day.

last night tonned at the wake till 2am plus, and some of us went up to take a nap as next morning (which is this morning) had to send him off for cremation.

i was taking a nap on my cousin's bed which woke his mom up as she went up earlier to take a rest.

then morning, cousins younger than him, as well as his friends got to send him off... older people cannot due to chinese belief, not good for my cousin, also not good for the elderly.

on the way to the cremation ceremony, my brother actually told us not to shed tears already and explained that last night before we woke the mother (cousin's mother) up, she dreamt of him looking chubby (a healthy sign) smiling at her and joke with her. In chinese belief, its his way of telling of he's fine, don't worry and he will rest in peace.

during the cremation ceremony, i kept telling him in my heart that next life time we got to be cousins again..

after the cremation, my mom told me that he was actually sitting at a corner of his bed (where i slept, it was his bed) smiling at his mother.

Well, i don't feel creepy or scary... afterall, he is my cousin.. I know he wont do any harm...

My brother said, usually on the 7th day the spirit then come back cuz 7th day is the day they know they are dead.

But according to my brother, alfred very fast accepted that he was dead (on 3rd day).

If 'he' came back looking fiercely or never talk, then its not a good sign, means he very miserable etc...

I feel better now as I know he came back smiling instead.. At least we knew his spirit came back to SG from JB... Cuz we scare he couldnt come back..

Oh..

and btw,

i heard that my cousin was the 6th person who died from the same spot according to JB traffic police.

what do you think of this?

means the place 'dirty' right?

then... his father's friends actually went down to the accident scene and noticed that the road wasn't very wide, meaning he couldn't be speeding at all.

but his bike only had broken mirror and some scratches, which contradicts alot cuz it caused such a big impact that his head had major injures, spine and neck bone were broken...

and when the friends of his father burned some offerings at that scene, and went back hospital to visit my cousin and found him better... but in the end still couldn't make it..

some of his friends and relatives even saw him smiling when those undertaker gonna close the coffin for the cremation ceremony. (after he came back to tell his mom he's fine)

in conclusion, we should happy for him that he rest in peace now...

sorry for sooo much of my religion thingy as some of you here may be other religions..

and u know what?

my ceiling kept having knocking sounds.

I'm sure you had heard us calling out your name umpteen times and we actually saw tear-like forming in your eyes.

Like I had said just now, you will always be my cousin, you will always be our family member.

Next life we are still going to be family and I will still want to be your cousin.

I know you actually wanted to live, you're young and healthy, fighting spirit is strong.

No matter what, everything do happens for a reason.

We knew you wanted to live, wanted to fight againt death god.

People could have died immediately, considered they wear helmets.. But you? Although you didn't wear and you were still able to endure for a good 3 days.

This shows that you wanted to live on..

I still remembered you kept mentioning to me you went thai pub, still wanted to teach me thai words that morning.

If i know this would happen, I could have give you a big bear hug or could have ask you to teach me more about thai before you left for JB that afternoon.

You didn't even give us a chance to bid goodbye Alfred..

Everyone knows you are such a good boy, we know you are filial to your parents though you did not show it..

Don't worry about your parents ok? Your brother and me shall take continue to take care of them..

just ytd morning when i went to help up at whampoa, my cousin alfred was there helping out too.

few hours later that day, around 5pm, he met an accident in JB while testing his motorbike after modified it.

he did not wear his helmet.

his head was majorly injured and its very critical.

decided to take off today to acc. my mom and relatives to go in jb hospital, who knows, the officer held up my mum cuz her passport was damaged and was forced to return to sg.

me and my mom rushed to icu building to apply for urgent leave to msia that day and it took us 4 hours to get the official document to go into jb again.

when we reached there, i was about to go into the hospital to take lift up when the security held up on me cuz i was wearing shorts.

bought a longer pants and one of my aunt's husband came down rushing us faster go up cuz my cousin condition was worsen, and his heart stopped twice.

we climbed the stairs as fast as we can.

and when i finally saw my cousin lying on the bed, i just couldnt control my tears.

his whole face was swollen, his head was bandaged, had stitches on his eyebrow. i simply couldn't regconise him at all.

i couldn't believe he was someone i knew and we love so much, and he was lying there.
its like totally a stranger, yet he is so familiar to all of us.

my aunties grandma were trying to talk to him, ask him faster wake up.

it totally broke my heart when my godma (alfred's mom) cried.

please god, he is a good boy.. he's only 22 and he is one of my fav. cousin... please don't let him go...

it's really painful to see someone u love to leave u without saying anything.

it's really painful to be able to talk and response to u few hours ago, and few hours later, he was lying on the bed with a face totally couldn't regconised.

i kept wondering... if only he wears helmet..
if only he listens to that friend who kept saying go so many times.
if only he is more careful..

if only i could tell him he is one of the best cousin.

if only time could turn back that day morning, i would have ask him not to go too.

Serious yet can be fun and outgoing.

Still remembered that I got to know him before even entering NP.

He was admitted into the same course and apparently, I blogged about it and he googled it, came to my blog, tagged me saying he was going to be my classmate.

Went for the orientation, he saw me but i duno how he looked like.

Haha, after that, how he introduced himself in person I have forgotten alr.

But it's still.. kinda cool lah.

life turning point

sometimes i feel that it's so hard to choose my own path especially when getting older.

it usually doesn't really matter to me which primary school or secondary school i would be going even though oss wasn't my top choice. when i was accepted into oss, i'm like fine, take it as i'm not into appealing into another desired school.

after O levels, when i applied for poly courses, then again, my course in NP wasn't my top choices, in fact if my memory didnt fail me, i think it was the 10th choice.

HAHA, yet i have friends who appeal out of this course while I just accepted it.

And thank god I did not once regret throughout my 3 years of my entire poly life.. Sometimes I imagined the WHAT IFS.

Like example, what if I opted out of this course? What if I don't have friends in poly?

Now, after 3 years, again, I had to make another important choice of my life again. This time I deeply understand the importance of what I have to choose because unlike choosing a primary/secondary school or poly, what u going to choose for ur degree determines your future career path. I would say this is the toughest choice I would have to make throughout my education.

Today, I have received NUS rejection letter.

Let me type this out:

"Dear Ong Mei Yee,

Thank you for applying to the National University of Singapore (NUS).

I regret to inform you that your application for admission to NUS has not been successful.

The Admission Selection Committee has evaluated your application very carefully and thoroughly before arriving at this difficult decision. We are aware that this brings you disappointing news but as admission to NUS is very competitive due to the large number of outstanding candidates applying for limited places each year, we are obliged to turn away many applicants."

When I read this letter, I couldn't help but wonder whether all rejected applicants had received the same ".... has evaluated your application VERY CAREFULLY AND THOROUGHLY before arriving at this difficult deicision."

Well, what to do? This is life.
Gotta accept it, appeal, if fail, move on. if successful, take it.

Oh btw, I have not receive any news from NTU. I don't have much hopes because I didnt really want to go NTU (is not like I can choose right? Should be they choose me, I cannot choose them haha)

I guess I have made one of the most important deicision in my life.

That is, appeal. If fail, try apply for NUS again next year.
If fails again, I'm going to take SIM UOL next year.

That's what I'm planning.

I'm making one important choice in my life that will marks my future career path and my life. Hopefully everything works out fine.

another month has passed,

and its our month-sary :D

went to check out the price at party world and booked a cabin room later.

then we lunched at White Dog Cafe, and was given the scenery seats.

both of us ordered minestrone, so only bothered to upload one of these.

this is mango something, recommendation for something refreshing.

battered chicken with homemade chilli sauce.

pork shoulder with apple sauce (the sauce tasted like cinnamon apple crumble)

exchanged with his pork shoulder as he complained its very hard for him to chew.

after that, we sang from 1.30pm to 5pm (suppose to be 4 hours).

after that, went cotton on and bought a dress for $19.95 and a red umbrella for $5 haha.

duno why i bought the umbrella also, just think its red.

went giant to buy maggie curry mee and back to my place.

opened letter box and i'm happy to receive the package!!

lately i've been receiving numbers of compliments on my skin.

my skin very nice meh!? -.-"

they just didn't know i have friends named "pimples" too. rofl.

i have dark eye rings and clogging pores too. its just not visible under the camera. Unless u looked into my skin like very NEAR.

i didn't know that spicy food and fried food will make one to have more pimples! Both spicy & fried food are something i have been eating since young, even during puberty.

i believe its the genes lah (haha, i'm not haolian-ing)

i used to have dry skin around my forehead and nose area, but weird thing is, when i hit 20, my skin started to feel greasy. I guess its the sign of dehydrated skin whereby its oily outside, dry inside.

hence i used to have pretty normal skin i guess? although i always thought and believed i was dry skin previously.

now? i would say i've combination skin or u can say, dehydrated skin type. I don't apply wash my face with facial foam in the past. haha, but now i started to be more hardworking lor. haha

although ppl keep saying my complexion very good, i think i look kinda dull... like becoming more yellowish. =\

but i just prefer to be tanned than fair leh =(

haha.

what's with all the rants here ah?

cuz Cheris asked me to blog more mah.. haha..

my skincare regime is very basic, as i believe that beautiful skin starts with cleansing well. Hence, i'm very particular with cleansing my face.

End of the day I would use Fancl Mild Cleansing Oil to remove all my sunblock (if i remember to apply) and blusher. Then double cleanse it when their brand's washing powder, or sometimes I used my mom's cheapskate Follow me UV sth sth cleanser. LOL.

For toner and moisturizer, i'm liking fancl's Lotion AC and Moisture Gel AC. Its formulated for acne skin people, but i like prefer this than my previous (also fancl) skincare range for normal skin. The acne ranges feels lighter and absorb into my skin faster and doesn't leave a greasy feeling unlike the basic ones.

In the past, when i was still a student, I used clean & clear moisturizer to apply on my dry skin area around nose and forehead. It helps! and its non greasy. haha..

Not sure of others, but because i don't really moisturize/tone/cleanse during my younger days, i find its doesnt make a difference. But now, i can't since i'm like under the air con for 8 hours.

walked around town with him and had lucky plaza's chicken rice =D

went Dior and he tried the jeans for the 2nd time and it was the last piece.

it was supposingly to be reserved thru a friend of ours who's working there.

but in the end, we realised the last piece was still hanging there, and he seems so sad that ppl might buy it away.

so I bought it for his advance 21st birthday present.

after that, we headed up a level which is the ladies section.

haha.

and he got me my belated bday present too. haha.

then we went wheelocks for nydc cake.

it was nice! and the buffalo wings, which tasted a little sourish... not spicy at all.

yup.

and he told me that sunset way got this restaurant selling chicken wings which has 30 levels of spiciness!

the most ridiculous thing was, some fainted when they tried 10++ level of spiciness!

and each chicken wing cost $5-7 I THINK.

yeah, so cool lah.

Wanna know how spicy i can take! Never faint after eating spicy food before leh. Like cool only. HAHA.

sorry for the lack of post.

Just doesn't have the urge to blog like EVERYDAY anymore.

Well, I used to blog every single day of my life during my secondary sch days, and perhaps poly days as well.

But now that I've been working for most of the days, I just didn't want to blog. I tweet more than I blog i think?

Today I felt so angry and hungry and humiliated that I showed my moodiness.

Just didn't feel like talking.

Conclusion,

Just because i'm a part-timer doesn't mean everything I did wrong means wha, like as if i going to commit crimes! And I didn't calculate wrongly, its just that I wrote it at the wrong place, doesn't mean u have the right to comment people's maths fail or that person is so stupid and said can don't come work already. Already said maybe it was me, i ADMITTED okay. Why are you still deliberately said this kind of thing and said U are very ANGRY now. When u wrote the amount wrong or what, I just rewrite for u leh, did I ever say u? Well, i'm just a part timer mah, no right to voice out also.

All in all, working life sucks ! No wonder my mum always say supervisor = cheebye-visor.

If u are smart enough, u will be able to know why am i so PISSED.

Today I learn the meaning of everything happens with a reason.

Me and my bf actually done a good deed.

You'll find out why.

Woke up super early to meet him at Woodlands interchange to go RP to get his password done.
Then in the end can actually reset it himself at home... so that's okay cuz we already there.
Had lunch there and took bus back.

Dropped at the bus stop before St. Anne Church and my bf noticed an old lady with her grandson, but she was lifting up her torn jeans and we actually got shocked!

We saw a very DEEP cut in her leg, blood oozed out and we could see her bone.
So immediately called the emergency ambulance, and right then, a nurse happened to be there.
She was asking whether anyone has any cloth so that she could wrap her leg with it to stop the blood.
My bf was about to pass her his t-shirt then I realised I actually brought out the shawl as I was afraid the bus journey would be cold.
As I don't really bring it out...

She wrapped it, waited for ambulance and she called her husband and her son. She was afraid to trouble her son when asked her to call her son to tell him about it.
Then when going Changi Hospital, the lady informed her son and said "sorry ah..."

I mean, come on... why apologised? There's nothing as important as your own mother than work lah...
But anyway, the ambulance came, unwrap the shawl cuz they need to wrap it with bandage, and the shawl threw away lor.

Yup, everything seems so dramatic.
Then we stayed to wait for the ambulance, the nurse who working at SGH went off.. So actually she can don't walk to the bus stop one... But it just happen that she walk that place, and saw what happened. And I don't really bring shawl out one. It seems like the nurse and us walked passed the old lady for a reason one.

Yup.. thats all.

Meet up with the girls today.

Meifang and I reached around the same time, followed by Veron.

Saw Iceman opp. Heeren(hi!) and we walked to Cine for pastamania.

So unlucky that pastamania not open!? how can it be sia?

So we went HK cafe instead.

Then went over to Taka, ion to collect my aunt's watch.

Walked around and went over to my bf's workplace.

Then bused back to my place with yuping and veron, while meifang had sth on (mj session) to do veron's poly application thingy.

my OR CHE (bruise) on my arm, got it when I hit the counter while doing stock take.

This fringe is slightly in the middle, yet not middle.

My phone lately have been giving me problems which I sort of regretted buying. argh.

First, when my fingers move fast, it does not react very smoothly and is rather laggy. hate it.

Second, when i have a message, it took like 5 seconds for the alphabets that i typed to appear cuz laggy. hate it.

Third, sometimes it will auto shut down. hate it.

Now since my contract going to reach 20 months (thank god) that I can finally get a new phone!

BUT.

Now i'm facing another problem!!!

Which freaking phone to get ah? =(

Initially I wanted this,

Blackberry (bold 9700)

Its main features are emails and bbm (blackberry messenger) that can only be used with all ur blackberry friends.

Then again, I have no friends who use blackberry at this moment.

Plus checking emails is not what I need =\

Then comes the 2nd option,

iPhone 3G

Most of my friends have it, and they said its user-friendly.

What I don't like is that the battery very easy go flat right?

I'm not sure if I like to use iPhone to listen to songs and use it as a phone cuz i already have ipod.

Plus, since the battery is tgt with the phone, once spoil, everything spoil.

Other than that, no complains.

Then my bf wants to get this,

Nokia E72.

The outer-look is similar to blackberry sia. lol.

I'm not sure now, but I hate Nokia's way of organizing the things.

Not sure whether is it still like that, but when I looked at someone's N70 or N71? I hate it. lol.

Argh, but anyway, Nokia phones has never cross my mind.

watched Alvin & The Chipmunks 2 and Gossip Girl at his place.

Went back my place with him and he prepared pork chop for me =)

I helped to cut onions and tomato.

Last night sort of quarrelled over him playing dota when I wanted to watch the chipmunks.

Was kinda fed up and went to sleep first when he continued his 2nd game.

When he's done, woke me up a little and I started saying I wasn't happy with what had happened earlier on.

So he went uninstalling his game etc, where by i told him he does not have to do so.

Yeah, cried and slept separately, me on his bed while he slept on the extra cusion that can make like a bed on floor.

so now he ended up with no games to play anymore.

Prawning & AMK Hokkien Mee!

went over his place to put my stuff before leaving to Ubi to renew his driving thingy.

then settled out breakfast there.

headed to bishan prawning!

he was so excited to bring me to prawn.

haha.

Yay! first prawn he prawned!

This is how it looks like at Bishan prawning farm..

It has separated 4 ponds for people to prawn.

After some time and his guidance, I caught one myself too!

He said I like aunty.

I looked as if I was holding a cane lecturing an invisible SNOOPY.

Another big fat prawn from another pond.

After 3 hours of prawning, we caught a total of 15 prawns..

Thanks to him, I did not have to touch the prawns or the bait (chicken heart) myself.

Preparation to BBQ it.

Disgusting leh.

Coincidentally, after leaving the prawns to BBQ like 5 mins later, it started raining lah! In the end most of the prawns were like undercooked cuz of the rain kept splashing onto the BBQ pit.

But ironically, we were lucky because we did not wasted any hour waiting for prawns since i heard from him that when raining, its harder to catch the prawns.

Enjoyed prawning, but do not enjoy eating BBQ prawns.

I hate that seafood taste and smell in the prawns... O.O

After prawning, i was so excited that he's bringing me to eat Hokkien Mee at amk that I've been telling him since last year!

Did not get to eat last year due to the stall renovating.

This stall does not open on Monday... Other than that, it opens after 3pm.

It looks and tastes just like another plate of typical Hokkien Mee.

But what was special was its chilli.

Normally hokkien mee u see is dark red chilli paste right? Well, this is sambal balacan, those that malay food have one.

Wooo. I tell you, I love it can.

Though he complained very spicy, I think it was okay. haha.

And the chilli given wasn't alot seriously, it was like 20 cent coin size. Extra chilli must top up 50 cents.

Yup, but I love their chilli!

After that, had chui kueh (4 for $1) at the first stall. I think it's nice too.

That's why I really need that Calorie limit lah, eat like pig.

Those who have watched Gossip Girl, will know who is Blair Waldorf & Serena Van Der Woodsen.

Just today, i was telling my bf about people in FB naming themselves like "Keith Salvatore", "Alicia Salvatore". But what's bothering me is, why some people just so thick skin to put themselves like:

1) "FyQaa Waldorf"
2) "Baofa Van Der Huat" (WHAT THE HELL?!)
3) "Kaven Van Der Woodsen"

I fucking hate it.

Seriously, these people are Singaporeans, they have ASIAN CHEENA FACE.

Why are these people posing like they are coming from ang moh blood that has like angmoh surname huh? I'm sure those ang moh facebookers saw it, CONFIRM think we are such a joker.
